About the data
Three layers
1. Baseline. Talent positions, ranks, prerequisites, icons and tooltip text are generated from the World of Warcraft Classic Era client tables (1.15.9.69722). Tooltip numbers are computed from the spell effect data, the same way the game renders them.
2. Forever overlay. Talents shown in BlizzCon 2026 presentations and streams are recorded change by change, with the screenshot they came from, and layered on top. Each talent carries a marker: new, changed, verified unchanged, or Classic placeholder.
3. Rebuild. When the Forever client is available, the baseline is regenerated from its tables and the overlay retires. Shared build links keep working as long as the tree layout does.

Forever screenshots were collected by the community project nikftw/forevertalent; rogue, shaman and priest layouts were transcribed from BlizzCon 2026 show-floor streams by Xaryu and Joardee (Twitch), with screenshots supplied by Milenkas. Remaining slots were cross-checked against the community calculator at forevertalents.up.railway.app; talents taken from it carry a note saying so in their tooltip.
